Our practice encompasses the full array of investment funds. We recognise that the establishment of an investment fund is more often than not a collaborative effort involving multiple service providers and we seek to provide a platform to draw out the best from each participant and foster a team spirit with a view to delivering a first class product in an efficient and cost effective manner. We act for sponsors, funds, managers, advisors and service providers. As the needs of our clients dictate, we serve as lead counsel or in tandem with our onshore counterparts, many of whom we work with regularly. We are keenly aware of the high pressure environment of the industry and pride ourselves on being responsive to the need for quick, quality advice.
We aim to guide our clients through ever increasing regulation whilst still trying to preserve maximum flexibility in attaining their objectives. We are experienced in dealing with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority both in terms of ongoing regulatory issues and in connection with licensing. We often find ourselves advising new or relatively new entrants and leverage a wide range of contacts to find other capable, practically minded service providers and negotiate terms for our clients with the benefit of depth and breadth of knowledge of the industry.
We understand the nuances that make each offering different and seek to tailor each fund to the client’s individual requirements. In a constantly evolving industry, we seek to stay abreast of changes in its practices with a view to giving our clients the tools to capture and retain value and to understand the options that exist.
